Scissor Cutting Edge
Scissors Cutting Edge
What exactly is the cutting edge?
HOLLOW GROUND BLADE/BEVEL ON THE “INSIDE CUTTING EDGE”
GROUND BLADE ON THE “OUTSIDE CUTTING EDGE”
Ground blade + hollow ground blade = cutting edge
High-precision devices are given an optimal cutting angle that matches their cutting line.
This is achieved by coordinated fine sharpening processes on the outside and inside cutting edges with 0.3 µ diamond grains up to and including the final processing stage in Tondeo S-Line and Premium scissors.
This high-end processing is only visible under high-resolution microscopes.
Slice cutting edge: slice cutting edge with polished grind and polished hollow ground blades for smooth operation
Super-slice cutting edge: razor-sharp, with polished hollow ground blades for smooth and accurate cutting
Ultra-slice DGT cutting edge: Super-sharp, with finely polished diamond hollow ground blades and a finely polished or integrated grind according to the Xtreme cutting edge processing procedure.
Micro-fine serrations: micro-fine serrations on one or both sides for maximum precision when cutting contours
• Micro-fine serrations
•• Shallow micro-fine serrations
